To kick off each new season, UEFA stages an annual awards ceremony recognising the standout players and coaches from the previous editions of its prestigious mens and womens club competitions.

There are also dedicated awards for a Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season in each of UEFAs major club competitions the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Womens Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League.

The Turkish Football Federation hosted the 2021/22 UEFA Awards ceremony on 26 August in Istanbul.
